Affordable Housing Education & Development (AHEAD) recently recognized New Hampshire Housing as their “Partner of the Year” for continued support of the organization and its mission.

During the organization’s annual meeting, AHEAD Director David Wood presented the award to New Hampshire Housing where Managing Director of Home ownership, Ignatius MacLellan, and Rental Assistance Supervisor, Amy McCaffrey were on hand to accept the award.

For many years, New Hampshire Housing has supported AHEAD and its mission to provide safe and affordable homes for northern New Hampshire families. Through our Asset Management group, AHEAD’s property management staff receives oversight, guidance and technical assistance for long-term rental property sustainability. Asset Management staff also offer AHEAD assistance with regulatory compliance for over 300 North Country units as well as funding for many of their development projects.

Through funding and public support, New Hampshire Housing was instrumental in helping AHEAD lay the foundation for their Home Ownership Center, which provides support to first-time home buyers in the North Country.
