New Hampshire Housing Donates 500 Canned Goods to the New Hampshire Food Bank

The recent social media campaign “Click to Fight Hunger” was a resounding success! As a result of the online campaign, the agency will donate more than 500 canned food items to the New Hampshire Food Bank; weighing- in at over 350 pounds, the food will help restore the Food Bank’s inventory after the high-demand holiday season.

The “Click to Fight Hunger” campaign ran on the New Hampshire Housing Facebook page throughout the month of January and for every new “like,” we pledged to donate one can of food to the New Hampshire Food Bank with the goal of reaching 500 new likes. New Hampshire Housing’s Facebook page received over 400 new likes during the campaign, yet the agency donated extra cans of food to reach the goal of 500 cans because the need is so great.

“We are grateful to New Hampshire Housing for their donation of 500 cans of food,” said Mel Gosselin, Executive Director, New Hampshire Food Bank. “Our inventory is depleted after the holidays, so this donation is timely and will help us maintain our food supply to New Hampshire agencies during winter months when demand is high.”
