Managing Director of Homeownership Helps Build Home for Family in El Salvador

Managing Director of Homeownership, Ignatius MacLellan, recently lead a group of individuals from New Hampshire to San Jose Villanueva, El Salvador to construct a home for the Martinez Family.

“Many of the families here in San Jose Villanueva are living in homes constructed with tin roofs, dirt floors and hammocks for beds,” said Ignatius. “Being able to build a home for the Martinez family that will provide security and protection from the elements is what we sought and it was a success”.

Seventeen high school students and chaperones joined MacLellan for the week-long journey to the small, economically challenged village in El Salvador and the photo captures the happiness and appreciation of our friends in El Salvador.
